Hello, I’m André Alves
I’m an artist/front-end developer with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Multimedia from the Escola Superior de Educação de Viseu (2024). My work brings together web, game development, and design — often inspired by my love for tabletop board games and video games.
Every project you’ll see here was developed by me, blending creative vision with technical skills. My board game project, for example, is a completely solo project — from concept and prototyping to 3D modeling and front-end web — showing a scope of what I do.
Take a look around — I hope you enjoy.
Hi! I’m André Alves — an artist and front-end developer from Viseu, currently 24 years old. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Multimedia from the Escola Superior de Educação de Viseu (2024). I enjoy mixing art and tech to bring ideas to life — from web design to game development. My work projects range from building a custom Arduino controller for a group project, to playing the game we made in Unity, to teaching myself Godot and solo developing Pans & Monsters, a 2D game for my final Bachelor’s project. Most of what you’ll see here is solo work, from designing and coding websites to creating 2D and 3D assets. Pans & Monsters explores 2D game dev with Godot, while Batatas blends Arduino and Unity, and Elder Fight Club is a project being developed by me, covering everything from concept art to prototyping.
